For children, toys are more than mere playthings; they shape experiences and foster skills while reflecting cultural values. The International Toy Museum on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg in New Delhi aspires to preserve and celebrate global toy culture while offering an interactive experience for all ages.

Nestled within a bustling urban landscape, the museum will house a welcoming coffee shop and a thoughtfully curated souvenir shop offering memorable keepsakes. At the museum's heart, a multi-purpose auditorium will host films, performances, and workshops. The design incorporates a space for toy recycling, encouraging sustainability through hands-on skill-building. Meanwhile, a toy library will inspire creativity and foster social interactions among children. With cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality and a captivating light and sound show, the museum aims to be a cultural landmark for education and entertainment.

Reflecting this vision, our design philosophy unfolds through three narratives: fluid forms with metallic façades, a tribute to India’s toy-making heritage using terracotta and red brick, and versatile modular panelization celebrating play’s multifaceted nature.
